    Nikateer,

    You may have blown a fuse in the cigarette lighter power adapter. Check page ten of your owner’s manual for info on how to replace that. You can download the owner’s manual from Crutchfield if you need it.

    You probably didn’t overcharge your battery.

    How long do you charge the garmins battery for? Is it possible to burn out the battery if u charge it too long?

    the 260 has a smaller screen. the W in 260W stands for wide screen. 3.5ich opposed to 4.3 inch screens

    Hi Zimbabwegal,

    The difference between the two is the screen size. The 260W has a 4.3″ wide screen compared to the 3.5″ touchscreen on the 260.

    The current models, the 265T and the 265WT, are the same sizes as these models from last year. In addition, they include an FM-TMC traffic-info receiver with subscription-free updates.

    So, you get even more, for the same price. You can find out more about them at our website.

    hi, great review, one question though, what is the difference between 260 and 260W?
